History
In 1999 Craig Guisinger returned from a nine-month military tour of duty in Bosnia with a vision of an independent recruiting firm. Already experienced in corporate recruiting, Craig wanted to start a company that utilized his relationship sales background, coupled with his knowledge of the mortgage industry. He wanted a company that was client-focused and results driven. He began Competent Search initially as the sole recruiter but with a vision of attracting like-minded professionals.
Starting in the Phoenix market, Competent Search now recruits and has placed mortgage professionals nationwide.
